I had the Carne Asada. Big portion for$9.99. Usual rice and beans.
The steak was flat and well done. Some places cut it smaller piece. The nice touch was the avocado slices.
Seating is about 8 tables.

A diner style menu with hundreds of choices. Plenty of room. The location is west side near the edge of Dekalb. Homemade soup of Cream of Chicken was great. Maybe the best. I will have to try Lincoln Inn for comparison again.

The food is good and portions are great. The burgers are what they are known for, but I had the Fajita pita and Shul had a Croissant w eggs, bacon, and ham. Both were great tasting. Total with coffee and soda was $17.41.
Highly recommended.

One of the places where many people who grew up in the town eat. you will be stunned at the prices. There are many sandwiches under $5. There are known for the burgers. The steak salad is really italian beef on salad. The Reuben was excellent.

Home of the hurricane pizza. Two people must eat the 24 inch pizza in 24 minutes. Only one pair has done it. $35 to enter. $135 to the people who finish.
So how is the pizza? The thin is a crisp crust baked in a pizza oven. The stuffed is thickest in dekalb.the veggie as shown has fresh ingredients and green olives w black. Yum.
The secret is to stop in and get the take menu with all the coupons.

Packed with the senior citizens most morning, the breakfast is their meal of the day. One hidden secret is the best baked oatmeal in the area. Get it with the fruit and nut topping. It will surprised you. The sausages are like brown and serve and so-so. The hash browns are good. Most times, meals are under $10.
